Flight Log - 2011-10-17 - Paul Nortness's SLUF (Short Little Ugly Fella)
SLUF is a stock Estes Big Daddy. I laminated the balsa fins and added strips of balsa on the centering rings for extra strength. I thought the name SLUF (Short little ugly Fella) was more fitting for a rocket of this stature.

Perfect flight on an entirely unexpected sunny October day. SLUF blasted slow off the pad and veered slightly to the south. Ejection shortly after apogee, safe recovery.
