Flight Log - 2011-05-30 - Matthew Bond's Estes Mini Max
Estes "Mini" version of the classic Der Red Max. Flies on 'Mini" motors, comes with a streamer for recovery, and a nice decal set in the classic "tongue in cheek" German military styling.

First Flight of the Mini Max. Swapped out the streamer for a 9" nylon chute. Nice boost, very quick off the rod and suprisingly high. Good chute right at apogee, long time coming down, Caught it on the fly standing right next to the launch pad. No damage. Needs a smaller chute, streamer would be better but not on the lakebed.
