Flight Log - 2015-03-29 - Matthew Bond's Estes Guardian
A pseudo-scale looking design with split fins on the "booster" section and another set of canard like fins up front on the "payload. Nice looking bird that has been around in the Estes lineup for quite a while now.
This rocket was one of three that I constructed in a hotel in Tucson, AZ while on a business trip and was flown at the annual 2 day Desert Heat launch put on by the Southern Arizona Rocketry Association.

Day two of the Desert Heat launch, a little more high clouds in the morning, but still a hot desert winter day. Another great flight, number three for the Guardian. Good up, good chute, good landing.
