A pseudo-scale looking design with split fins on the "booster" section and another set of canard like fins up front on the "payload. Nice looking bird that has been around in the Estes lineup for quite a while now.
This rocket was one of three that I constructed in a hotel in Tucson, AZ while on a business trip and was flown at the annual 2 day Desert Heat launch put on by the Southern Arizona Rocketry Association.

Second flight of the new Guardian, much like the first. Nice quick boost, good altitude, good chute deployment near apogee, landed on the field with no damage and a short recovery walk.
