Flight Log - 2016-01-16 - Matthew Bond's Estes Der Yellow Max
A standard Red Max kit built with a triple 18mm motor mount and given a yellow paint job

First flight of the second Cluster-Max build. Loaded up a C6-5 plus two C6-7s, using Quest Q2G2 igniters with the leads twisted together. All three motors lit and the rocket flew straight and fast. Arcing over at the top of the climb, near apogee at ejection. The combined ejection charges pushed the nose cone off, but the chute bundle remained jammed in the body tube. Tumble recovery on the field, no damage from the landing, but the inside of the BT was pretty charred from the multiple ejection events. Rocket is certainly still flyable.
