Flight Log - 2018-02-03 - Matthew Bond's Estes Baby Bertha
First Rocket built mostly by my daughter. Standard build, with the addition of a length of Kevlar shock cord, tied around the motor mount as the base of the recovery system. I added a nice pink and purple paint job according to her specifications and she proudly added it to her growing fleet.

First Flight of my daughter's new pink and purple Baby Bertha. Nice fast boost, arcing into the wind and also right unto the sun. Heard the ejection charge go off and eventually picked it up under chute as it descended below the sun. Landed on the field, short walk, no damage.
