Flight Log - 2019-08-01 - Matthew Bond's Estes Alpha VI 60th Anniversary Edition
Received this 60th Anniversary kit from Estes as part of the SWAG Bag at NARAM 60. Gave it to my daughter and we built it together and added it to her expanding fleet. The only modification was to replace the rubber shock cord with a combination of Kevlar and elastic, although we did use the classic tri-fold paper shock cord mount to anchor the Kevlar.

Nice smooth boost, leaning into the wind during the coast, nose up at ejection. Slightly fouled chute (nose cone had ejected through one of the shroud lines) short walk grass landing, no damage. Grass still pretty wet with dew, lip of the body tube soaked up a bit of moisture.
