Flight Log - 2018-09-08 - Matthew Bond's Apogee Mini Condor 002

13mm Boost Glider with unique plastic molded wing joint that gives both a fixed dihedral angle to the balsa wings, but also sets the incident angle of the entire wing when it is attached to the fuselage boom, greatly simplifying both construction and trimming.  Standard boost pod arrangement with a molded plastic glider hook.

First NRC flight of the 2018/19 contest year.  Spent some time fiddling with the launch rod and launch lead standoff arrangement, finally got something taped in place for launch.  Decent boost, pod/glider arced over on it's back during the delay coast.  Good glider separation at ejection, and decent transition to glide.  Nice stable glide with some slow circling.  touched down on the sod, 62 second duration.
