Flight Log - 2019-07-28 - Matthew Bond's 2.70x Upscale Super Neon "Sooper Neon"

2.63" Upscale of the Estes Super Neon.  38mm Motor Mount, Dual Deploy with Pefrectflite MAWD Altimeter.

Flight Date: 2019-07-28
Rocket Name: 2.70x Upscale Super Neon "Sooper Neon"
Flyer's Name: Matthew Bond
Motors: I125-ALTIM
Expected Altitude: 3,320 Feet
Wind Speed: 6.00 mph
Launch Site: NARAM 61
Actual Altitude: 2,605 Feet

Great boost, nice long burn, arcing into the wind after burnout.  Good drogue deploy at apogee, moving pretty good in the wind.  Main chute did not deploy, landed in the beans under drogue.  Minimal damage to booster tube fins, upper payload tube creased.  Ematch still connected to the av bay, not sure what happened, had continuity on both charges on the pad.  Significant disconnect between the Rocsim prediction and the actual altitude.  Some of that is explained by the arcing flight profile, but not all of it?
