Rocket Name: 2.70x Upscale Super Neon "Sooper Neon"
Flyer's Name: Matthew Bond
Motors: I284-ALTIM
Expected Altitude: 2,750 Feet
Wind Speed: 6.00 mph
Launch Site: Turkey and GRITS 2018
Actual Altitude: 2,566 Feet

Great boost, fast and loud off the rail, solid and straight under thrust.  Arcing into the wind at the top of the climb, travelling horizontal at ejection.  Good descent under drogue, as it got lower it looked as if the avionics bay had separated from the upper payload section.  No main deploy, rocket landed on the field under drogue, recovered without damage.  Main charge had been pulled from the upper payload section, and had also broken one of the leads so it did not fire.  Main chute remained safely packed in the upper tube.
