Motors: | C6-5 |
Wind Speed: | 4.00 mph |
Launch Site: | NARAM 60 |
Prepped the second booster with the same egg capsule and altimeter bay from the first flight. Not quite as straight of a boost as the first flight, arcing more into the wind, past apogee and heading down at ejection. Egg capsule seemed to separate from the booster at ejection, no evidence of a chute at all. Flight was DQ'd I did not walk out and attempt to recover the rocket. The booster section turned up later in the lost and found box without a chute, the elastic part of the shock cord burned through but with the balsa transition block? The egg capsule and altimeter were not found.
