Flight Log - 2016-01-16 - Matthew Bond's 1.77x Upscale Duster "Slick Willy"

An upscaled Thrustline Duster, using Semroc body tubes and nose cone, 1/8" plywood fins, 38mm motor mount.  Dual deploy using a Perfectflight MAWD, 12" Top Flite drogue chute, and a 36" hemispherical main by Spherachutes.  My level 1 certification rocket.

Yet another awesome flight from this old bird.  Great boost, straight and loud with lots of sparks.  I am pretty impressed with the Aerotech Dark Matter motors.  Arcing over at the top of the climb, saw the apogee event, but couldn't really track the rocket.  Managed to keep an eye on it by catching the sun glint off the paint.  Good main chute deploy at 500 feet, landed on the field, no damage.
