Breeze blowing back over the flight line, tried to angle to rail in a safe direction. Great boost, straight and fast, arcing into the wind during the coast. Saw the apogee event and then a few flashes in the sun, but could not keep my eyes on it against the high cirrus clouds. Several folks had it in sight and eventually I was able to pick it up again. Good main chute deploy at 500 feet, landed in the scrub well behind the flight line. No damage.
