First flight of day2 at Turkey and GRITS 2017! After 3.5 years of missing one of the small forward fins, I finally got around to repairing the BB29 and getting back on the flight line. Used the Aerotech delay drilling tool to cut the delay down to 8 seconds. Winds on the field were blowing opposite from the previous day, but still pretty light. Angled the rail into the wind just a couple of degrees and let it go. Nice boost, straight and high, arcing into the wind at the top of the climb. Good separation at apogee, moving crosswind for a while at altitude. Jolly Logic chute release did its thing at 400 feet and the rocket landed on the filed with no damage. Minimal twisting of the shock cord on this flight.
