Flight Log - 2018-10-28 - Matthew Bond's 1.77x Upscale Blue Bird Zero "BB29"
Flight Date: 2018-10-28
Rocket Name: 1.77x Upscale Blue Bird Zero "BB29"
Flyer's Name: Matthew Bond
Motors: H128-8
Expected Altitude: 1,835 Feet
Wind Speed: 4.00 mph
Launch Site: Bama Blastoff 2018

Nice boost, quick and straight, arcing over a little during the coast, still nose up at ejection.  Booster and payload sections separated at ejection, but came down more or less together and landed close to each other on the field.  Shock cord had parted just above the end of the booster, and about 6 inches below where it had done the same thing previously.  The flat woven Kevlar shock cord has some very minor surface charring in that area, but seems sound.  I will probably add a protective sleeve to the shock cord when I tie it back together.  No other damage.
