To be honest, I didn't see much of this flight, but I heard it. The flight was straight up off the pad and based on the sound, the ejection happened right above my head. I immediately started looking around for it but saw nothing. I began scanning the field, looking for any flash of yellow. Long after any semblance of a normal flight cycle had passed, I saw a flash over the infield. The Sunbird dropped deep in the hole between second and short. When I arrived at the landing site, the top inch of the body tube had been blown open.
