Flight Log - 2022-11-12 - Wes Munn's Luna Bug

This was a build for my son. He wanted it painted sky blue, and so it was done. Body tube is very susceptible to moisture from primers -- wasn't very high quality like larger body tubes of standard or advanced rocket kits. Landing struts are made from heavy, laser cut card stock. Card stock landing legs glued very well to the body tube. Was built in less than a few hours accounting for drying time of glue, paint, and primer altogether. NO parachute recover -- it just "crash lands" after using one of those tiny A motors. When assembled together, body tube and nose cone resemble a lipstick or lip balm dispenser.

Too easy to build, but enjoyed doing it for my son -- ready to get back to the challenging stuff. :)
