LDRS 31 - Son of Godzilla (2012-09-19)

Son of Godzilla flying on Friday afternoon at LDRS 31. This is the most power I've flown in this rocket - 1 core N3000 monolithic grain partial-finocyl with 15500 n/s, and 3 - 2800 n/s L1000 motors started with a first-motion G-switch. These are all EX motors of my own making with a combined total impulse of ~24000n/s. This flight reached just short of 10000 feet. Not bad for a 135 pound, 12" diameter rocket.

Scott Tyrrell's Viper at Red Glare 9 (2011-06-28)

Scott Tyrrell's Viper rocket on an EX M2500 pink motor for the 76/7600 hardware. I've been fine tuning this propellant for some time, and I think this version looks good. This 12' tall, 5.5" diameter, 45 pound rocket went to 9000' on this 8200 n/s load.

Son of Godzilla - MDRA Red Glare 5 (2011-06-04)

Flight on a N3600 experimental 12500 n/s core motor, with 3 experimental 2000 n/s K700 airstarts. 12" diameter, 120 lb. rocket reached 7500' with perfect recovery.

Specter - MDRA Red Glare 6 (2011-12-08)

Performance Rocketry Competitor 5 on a 8000 n/s experimental motor. Flew to 14600' at mach 1.2 with perfect recovery at MDRA's Red Glare 6 launch.

Standard ARM at Red Glare 9 (2011-09-04)

Scott Tyrrell's Standard ARM on a 38/660 "J600". This was the first time for me mixing a clone of Blue Thunder propellant using Copper Chromite. It came out a bit faster than I expected with a 0.7 sec. burn running at a Kn of ~260.

Standard ARM Flight 2 at Red Glare 9 (2011-09-04)

Here is Scott Tyrrell's Standard ARM on a Fast Tiger Tail -Mg load for a 38/660 case that I made. 0.66 sec. burn lobbed the rocket to 2500'.

Static Test at Red Glare 9 (2011-06-24)

Static test of a 38/240 EX motor. This is a new propellant using 2% Nano Iron Oxide, Fine AP and chopped Silver Wire to enhance the burn rate. This test was running a Kn of ~150.
