Flight Log - 2011-06-01 - SteveL's the Organe Streak

The rocket main body tube is a BT 60 tube and it has a rear ejection system.   The 24mm motor mount tube is mounted in a BT 60 coupler tube with the 24mm tube going trought a 60-24mm centering ring to make the seal that forces the rear ejection.  Chute is placed inside the 24 mm motor tube that is pluged with a balsa plug.

The flight was very good, went straight up and high, will use altimeter next flight.   The problem was with recovery.  Human error, I failed to tie the shock cord to the nose cone.  The front 6"of the body tube took most of the shock on the landing, slight damage to nose cone.  Already repaired ready to fly again.
