Flight Log - 2016-05-28 - Steve Lindeman's Magician

Maiden flight. Swapped out 18" plastic 'chute for a 12" nylon due to projected altitude. Need not have worried. Rocket hug up on launch rod. By the time it cleared the rod it only managed about 150'. Rocket then lawn darted shoving the nose section 2" into main BT. Surprised the ejection charge did not split the rocket open. Will have to cut rocket apart to repair.
