Launch Site: Lincoln School, Belvidere, IL

Time: 7:57 pm.  Temperature: 78 degrees.  Wind: 10 - 15 mph from the east.  Weather: Clear.

First launch of the rocket with helicopter recovery.  Good flight.  Pretty high, but visible throughout.  Parachute deployed, but did not open.  Meka recovered lower half of rocket in the playground 30 degrees, 25 yards from launch site.  The rocket body had no damage, but the parachute was burned and partly melted and will need to be replaced.

The helicopter blades opened and the nosecone spun back towards the west and then quickly descended.  Daniel caught it 30 degrees and 25 yards from the launch site.  No damage.
