Flight Log - 2015-04-25 - Rick Barnes's Orbital Interceptor
I recently built this clone of the Estes Orbital Interceptor after finding the fin patterns online. The only major difference is the use of a BNC-50Y cone instead of the original plastic, due to availability. That means my nose weight is a steel sinker epoxied into a bore in the cone rather clay pressed into the plastic. Paint is finished, but I haven't put the decals on yet.
