Flight Log - 2012-05-07 - Bob Francis's Neptune 1

Time: 7:30 pm. Temperature: 60 degrees. Wind: calm. Weather: Partly sunny.
Good flight, but parachute did not open after deployment. Rocket crashed to the northwest of launch site. Unable to find. Will follow up search after viewing the video tape of the landing.
Bob located rocket by accident. On proper angle based on the video replay, but had landed in very tall grass about 10 yards northwest of the launch site and had fallen all the way to the ground. Only saw it after kicking aside some grass to walk towards where we thought the rocket should be. No damage to the rocket.
