Rocketarium Hexagon with custom added upper deck "alien cockpit" and lights for the full UFO effect. Still in development, but going well and near finished. Upper deck is created to allow use of delay charges so that the charge is vented out to the sides. Allows a greater selection of motors as well as a bit of simulated "saucer attack" blasts (or help signal flares however you view it) as the saucer comes down. First modified launch resulted in a broken plastic cover, so I started looking for flexible/more durable alternatives. Search was long and painful (even tried custom rubber molding without success. Ended up using the same plastic vending machine bubble (but a new one) and adding on a Nerf Mega Dart tip along with a Lego "antenna". The Nerf tip should help absorb some impact and the antenna is to make it look better and also can be folded forward into "Disintegration Ray" mode. Lots of fun! Love the bottom paint job too...simple, but great results.

Launch of latest modified Hexagon with Nerf tip. Went up at a slight angle, came down fast and hit hard (only about 1" of snow over ice). Roswell landing. Bubble dome cracked open, light module fell out and alien given a giant snow beard! Will rebuild and try to figure a way to save the dome.
