Flight Log - 2017-04-22 - K Sonesen's L'il Goblin 29 (FG)
This is the fiberglass version of the Lil Goblin patterned after the original Polecat Aerospace Goblin.

This was the maiden flight of my L'il Gobin 29. The kit required some nose weight to achieve the proper CP/CG relationship. At the moment I don't recall the amount of lead shot I epoxied into the nose cone. I also used an Estes 29mm motor retainer system which I highly recommend. I used a 30" lightweight Top Flight parachute under deployment control of the Jolly Logic Chute Release set to open at 300'. Perfect liftoff and deployment. Rocket landed within 150 feet of the launch pad.
