Flight Log - 2014-04-05 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's MPC Vostok

Built from an old AVI kit. 

Many plastic parts were warped and had to be heated in boiling water to re-shape.

Hard build, compromises were made to get it together.

Heavy, finished weight was 4.25 oz, without engine!

Unstable! Retired.

Launch was straight to about 15 feet up, then it pinwheeled and hit the ground before the ejection charge went off.

The parachute did eject, small melts in the thin Mylar.

One fin broken off, fin tabs broken.
