Flight Log - 2020-02-16 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Estes Der Red Max Clone
First clone I build after getting back into the hobby.
This was a re-build, this time I filled the seams on the body tube and launch lugs. It is now painted red, not orange. New decals from the Estes reissued kit. I used Americana clear acrylic with good results - very shiny. No skull and crossbones parachute in this kit.

The model had just turned over when the ejection charge pushed out the chute. The Max landed a little too close to one of the three trees near the basketball courts!
