Favorite Rockets: My all-time favorite model was the Estes Orbital Explorer, which I never did get to fly correctly. Still loved it, though!

Biography:

I was introduced to model rocketry in 1976 by several school friends who belonged to an ad-hoc rocketry club.  I've been building kits and launching on and off ever since, most recently a few weeks ago with my son, who is now the same age I was when I began the hobby. I was a young boy during the height of the NASA Apollo program and have always had a rich interest in rocket flight and space travel.
