1st attempt level 1 failed (2011-06-25)

1st attempt on a 38mm Aerotech H242T- medium delay failed because delay was shorter then SIM prediction and rocket was zippered. Lost about a foot off the top. See second attempt on a back-up rocket.

I class Kn03 Sugar Rocket (2011-05-31)

I call this the "Lost & Found" rocket. Scratch built 38mm diameter rocket. Motor hardware was Aerotech 38/360 casing with home made propellant of KnSU with IO. I went with streamer recovery because I thought the winds were 10-15mph but they must have been a lot higher aloft. Rocket was recovered the next day 1/2 mile away.

Saucer Rocket 38mm Kn03+Sorbitol (2011-08-27)

Home made 5 sided "saucer" with KnSB-2 bates grains of propellant in a 38/360 case. Out of ignighters so I had to use a fuse. Would have gotten up to speed quicker with an e-match and head end ignition and some iron oxcide for catalist in the propellant. Kinda wobbled at the end?
