Flew to the left off the pad and topped out around 759' over the soccer parking lot. Chute again fouled on the dowels and came in parawad. It recovered to the right of the pads and a dowel was noted to be missing. Unsure if it was lost on impact with the ground or was knocked loose by the nose cone.
