The modified payload bay of the old Estes Bandit is seen here. It is lengthened by about 4 inches to include the altimeter and a HD videocamera/recorder above that. The camera looks out the side window seen in the silver section just below the nose cone.  It looks thru a shatter-resistant window that is mirrored to protect the camera from ultra-violet light.
